As the research community awaits the official release of the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026, the European Commission has announced a comprehensive series of 2026 Info Days and thematic Brokerage Events. These initiatives aim to inform potential applicants about upcoming funding opportunities and to support consortium building across Europe and the broader Euro-Mediterranean region.
Horizon Europe 2026 Info Days
The Info Days, organised directly by the European Commission, will provide detailed guidance on the 2026 funding calls across all major thematic Work Programmes. Sessions will cover the full spectrum of Horizon Europe.
Next dates include:
- Cluster 5 “Climate, Energy & Mobility” Info Day | 15 January 2026 (online)
- Cluster 6 “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture & Environment” Info Days | 22–23 January 2026 (hybrid: Brussels + online)
These events aim to help researchers, innovators, institutions, and SMEs navigate the upcoming calls and prepare strong proposals for the 2026 cycle.
Brokerage Events to Support Networking and Partnerships
Complementing the Info Days, the thematic National Contact Point (NCP) networks will host Brokerage Events, key opportunities for participants to meet partners, pitch project ideas, and build consortia ahead of the 2026 calls.
Scheduled brokerage events include:
- Cluster 5 Brokerage Event | 14 January 2026 (online)
- Cluster 6 Brokerage Event | 21 January 2026 (in person, Brussels)
These events are particularly valuable for Euro-Mediterranean stakeholders seeking collaborations in Climate Change and Renewable Energy sectors.
